Q: Where can I practice the skills I have learned?

A: At National Dance Clubs of Middle Tennessee, we encourage social activities like Friday Night Dances, Tuesday Nights Out and special couples activities. We also travel to different Middle Tennessee area venues. We want to encourage our students to practice in many different environments, including Wild Horse Saloon and B.B. King's.

Q: Do I need a partner?

Q: Do I have to sign a contract?

A: Absolutely not. Your instructor will act as your partner on your lessons and many partners are available at our activities.

A: We have been in business in Tennessee for over 30 years and our agreements simply spell out your purchase and your goal, for your protection and ours.  You are not charged for a lesson if you are dissatisfied with it and our agreements are fully cancelable.

Q: How much do lessons cost?

A: You can get started dancing for $35. But there are different levels of participation at our studios, so give us call to find out about a plan that's right for you.

Q: How and when are lessons scheduled?

A: You can schedule lessons Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We recommend you schedule one lesson at a time or a handful of lessons close together until you know the basics. After you've learned the basics, you can choose which styles of dance you'd like to focus on.

We request that you provide 24 hour notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson because a teacher will be waiting to teach you!

Q: What should I wear to my first lesson?

A: We recommend you dress business casual. Although we want you to be comfortable and mobile, workout gear is a little too informal. Skirts are OK, but not required. For shoes, pick something with hard soles as opposed to rubber. Do not wear wedges, stilettos, or flip flops. After your first few lessons, your teacher will advise on dance shoes.
