Stefani is an excellent instructor that knows how to train someone with absolutely no prior experience. She is encouraging and can relate the dance steps to one with no prior knowledge. The other instructors seem similar in terms of welcoming new students and presenting the material. NDC of Franklin is easy to find and has plenty of room for group and individual classes. They are welcoming and work with each student on individual basis with a nice blend of single student and group lessons...with a clear set of objectives for each dance/level. I look forward to learning more.read more

My fiancé and I wanted to take dance lessons to feel a little more prepared for our wedding, and a friend recommended that we check out NDC. I've never really danced before, but our teacher Rachel took us through a bunch of different dances step-by-step, and within a couple of sessions, I started feeling a lot better about dancing and had a lot more fun with it! I absolutely love the national dance clubs! This is one of the most fun things that I have done while in Nashville! I feel like I learned a great deal and it was a great stress relief for me while breaking into the real estate world of the city. Some People Come in Our Lives and Teach Our Souls to Dance” My name is Ashley, and I met the National Dance Club team at the Holiday Edition Vendor Fair on December 21, 2019. A short background on the person I was. I had crippling depression, anxiety, and PTSD from several events that happened in my life. One those events was the death of my best friend, my dad, who passed away from Mesothelioma cancer in 2016. I sought a counselor and a psychologist because I didn’t want to be depressed and anxious. I needed to find something to help myself get out the hole I was in. At this vendor fair I met many people. One of those people was Eric who welcomed me over to The NDC booth to talk about dancing. I sheepishly scheduled my free dance lesson on December 27, 2019 with Eric. I came into the NDC studio not expecting too much, but ready to try. Working with Eric that day, all my fears just melted away, and the negative feelings I had been experiencing also just melted away. So, I signed up for confidence builder dance lessons. I went to all my private lessons plus all the group classes I could. My confidence grew not only on the dance floor but also in my life. My friends, family, and coworkers could see the confidence and changes dance gave my life. The color in my face brightened. I was not moving as slowly, and everything was getting better day-by-day. I wanted to share my love of dance with others, so I started to invite friends, family, and coworkers to guest night where they got a group class and free private dance lesson just like I did. Each one felt the feeling I felt. Not only has dance built my confidence, but I have also gained an NDC family, not just with Eric but also with the other instructors Abby, Melissa, Jamey and the other NDC members. There are some things that you do in life and it quickly goes, but there are other things that come in your life that just lifts your soul. NDC has come into my life and taught my soul to dance and it will be dancing for many years to come.read more
